NEW SCOUT TROOP FORMED.
DIOCESAN BOYS' SCHOOL TROOP.
The Diocesan Boys School is adding another activity to its already full schedule of work and sport. Mr. Sargent, the new and energetic Head of tho D.B.S., is, with the beginning of the new term, starting a school scout troop to be known as the 1st. Diocesan Boys' School Troop. Hitherto students at the D.B.S. have had to be content with being members of the different troops in Hong Kong and the mainland. The news that they are to have their own troop attached to the school has therefore been received with joy.
Mr. Sargent is to take on the duties of scoutmaster, and having done similar work at home, coupled with his knowledge of teaching and the handling of boys, the troop is bound to succeed.
Mr. E.Cock, M.B.E., a member of the school committee, has kindly accepted the office of President of the new troop. The 1st. Diocesan Boys' School Troop will be known in official local scout records as the 6th Kowloon.
