ST. ANDREW'S TROOP AT HOME.
Display of Scouting And Gymnastics.
12th BIRTHDAY.
An At Home to parents and friends, and a display of Scoutcraft, will be given by the 1st Kowloon Troop (St. Andrew's) of Boy Scouts in St. Andrew's Church grounds at 3 p.m. this afternoon. The display will take place on the Vicarage lawn, which has kindly been placed at the disposal of the Scouts by the troop Chaplain, the Rev. W.Walton Rogers.
The proceedings will be under the direction of the Scoutmaster, Mr. R.Dormer, assisted by Mr. R.H.Wong, A.S.M., and the senior Patrol Leaders.
The programme will open with ordinary Scout work, this including tenderfoot work, and second class. Patrols will then compete in First aid tests for the Barnes Cup Competition, after which there will be erection of tents and fire lighting. This will be followed by a kims game for old Scouts present to participate, after which the lady visitors will be asked to take part in a parcel wrapping competition.
