BOY SCOUTS MEET IN COMPETITION
For Prince of Wales Banner
THIRTEEN TROOPS ENTER FOR FIRST RALLY

Thirteen troops, consisting of 250 scouts of the Hong Kong Boy Scouts Association, participated in the First Rally of the Prince of Wales Banner Competition, held at the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps Headquarters yesterday afternoon.
The Commissioner of the Association, the Rev. N.V.Halward, who was one of the judges, inspected the troops individually. Mr. D.A.Pockson, Secretary of the Association, was the other judge.
The inspection, which was one of the largest in the history of the Association, was based on neatness, attendance, ambulance work, compass work, camp fire stunts, and the uses of the scout staffs. For each of these points were assigned to the individuals.
Members of the Deep Sea Scouts were also in attendance.
The winners of the Banner, which was presented by the Prince of Wales during his visit here in 1922, will be announced as soon as the marks have been added up.
