EMPIRE SCOUTS FOR WORLD JAMBOREE
London, July 22.
It was announced yesterday that the Boy Scouts Imperial Headquarters hope to sent 6000 Scouts from all parts of the British Empire to the World Jamboree in Holland next year. They will be under the leadership of Lord Somers, Deputy Chief Scout for Great Britain.
It is estimated that the cost per head, including all excursions but excluding the journey to and from the home port, should not exceed £6. The general rule, with some exceptions, is that the Scouts attending the Jamboree should not be under fourteen years of age.
