Scout Grand Camp Fire Display
The opportunity of witnessing the Camp Fire Display organised by the Hong Kong Branch of the Boy Scouts' Association to take place on Saturday, November 7, at 6.30 p.m. is one that should not be missed.
The Display, the first of its kind, will give an interesting insight into the Boy Scout Movement which, within a little over 25 years, has grown into a colossal organisation spreading to all corners of the world. More particularly, the public will see what Scouting is doing for young boys, youths and men in bringing them up as useful citizens and with a knowledge of useful crafts.
His Excellency the Governor, as Chief Scout for Hong Kong, will be present and the Band of the 1st Ba. Royal Ulster Rifles will render music.
Tickets at $5, $2, $1 and 50 cents are obtainable from members or from Headquarters, Lower Albert Road.
