Mr. E.J.Edwards On Value Of Boy Scout Movement
Satisfactory Progress
A year of satisfactory progress was revealed at the annual speech day of the Cheung Chau Government School held yesterday afternoon when Mr. E.J.Edwards, Inspector of English Schools, distributed the prizes. In the course of a brief address, Mr. Edwards referred to the pleasant situation of the school and added how lucky the Cheung Chau boys were to be able to attend a school like that.
Referring to the Boy Scout Movement, Mr. Edwards said that it had many things to teach the boys and recommended all those who could to join.
The school hall was decorated with flags and after the function tea was served.
The Headmaster (Mr. Cheung Kim Pak) presided.
