PRESENTATION TO O.A.G.
BOY SCOUTS' VISIT TO GOVERNMENT HOUSE
The simple act of presenting His Excellency the O.A.G. with a souvenir Coronation programme at Government House this morning was a testimony to the fine work carried out by the Boy Scouts of the Empire in raising funds for the Jubilee Trust.
Led by Scout Commissioner N.V.Halward, a party of scouts marched to Government House at 11 o'clock when they were received by the Hon. Mr. N.L.Smith. The programme was handed by Troop Leader Shin Ka-wing, 1st Hongkong Sea Scouts to His Excellency, who acknowledged the gift with a few words of thanks.
Others of the party were Troop Leader S.Wong, 1st Hongkong (St. Joseph's) Troop, Troop Leader W.FitzGibbon, 2nd Hongkong Troop, Troop Leader R.Maycock, 4th Hongkong (Murray) Troop.
