BOY SCOUTS ROW BOAT FROM CANTON
Kwok Shiu-shue and another member of the 101st. Troop China Boy Scouts, safely arrived in Hong Kong from Canton yesterday in their rowing dinghy. The craft is at present in the care of the Harbour Department.
Kwok had two companions when they left Canton on July 2 but one of them had to stop his journey when they arrived at Whampoa.
Kwok and his other companion experienced many difficulties including typhoon conditions before they reached the Colony.
It is learned there is a possibility that these two young adventurers will attempt a trip to Swatow.
