CHIEF SCOUT AT AFRICAN HOME

NAIROBI.

   Lord Baden Powell, the Chief Scout, has returned to his African home, Paxtu, on the slopes of Mount Kenya. His many friends in the colony were delighted to see him once more full of (???) at the age of 81 and glad to be back in Africa. He is already making plans for the development of his small estate at Nyeri.

   His return was entirely informal. None of the Kenya Scouts or Guides was present when he arrived.
