SPECIAL SERVICES HELD AT CATHEDRAL & ST. ANDREW'S
Wreath Laid At Cenotaph By St. George's Society
LOCAL OBSERVANCE OF ST. GEORGE'S DAY, WHICH THIS YEAR FELL ON A SUNDAY, consisted of a special service at St. John's Cathedral yesterday morning, attended by many members of the St. George's Society of Hongkong, and, immediately afterwards the laying of a wreath at the Cenotaph.
A special Scouts' Parade Service was also held at St. Andrew's Church.
SCOUTS' CHURCH PARADE
A Scouts' church parade was held at St. Andrew's Church after morning service yesterday, in observance of St. George's Day, troops participating being the 4th Kowloon (Garrison Scouts) and 1st Kowloon (St. Andrew's). The 1st Kowloon Cub Pack also attended. A group photograph of all the scouts who attended the service was taken later.
