Boy Scout Bazaar
Preparations are in full swing for the forthcoming Boy Scout Bazaar to be opened by H.E. the Governor at 2.30 p.m. this Saturday. Many thousands of entrance tickets at 50 cents each have already been sold by the Scouts themselves.
Friends and well wishers who have not yet got tickets and who wish to avoid the rush at the gate may obtain them at Tsang Fook Piano Co., Marina House, today and tomorrow morning.
A raffle in connection with tha entrance ticket numbers will be conducted at the end of the day. The first prize is a 1948 Beethoven 5-Tube All Wave Radio Model 3048, valued at $385, presented by Messrs. Dennis & Co. Ltd. specially for the occasion. There will be 19 other prizes as listed below:-
2nd 1 Air Round Trip (Cathay Pacific Airways to Macao); 3rd 1 Hot Plate (E.Ott & Co.); 4th 1 Electric Heater (Anderson Meyer); 5th 1 Electric Heater (Anderson Meyer); 6th 1 Raincoat (U.Spalinger & Co.); 7th 1 Box Camera (Eastman Kodak); 8th 1 Box Camera (Eastman Kodak); 9th to 20th each one complimentary ticket for two persons to Lee Theatre presented by International Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.
