BOY SCOUTS RALLY
MURRAY TROOP WIN BANNER

   The local branch of the Boy Scouts Association, commenced their competitions for the Prince of Wales Banner yesterday afternoon, when under the supervision of Scout Commissioner N.V.Halward, they assembled on the sports field on the Diocesan Boys' School for their rally.
   Instead of a formal inspection of the troops, Commissioner Halward received the registers of each individual troop, after which the competitions commenced.
   The China Fleet Deep Sea Scouts undertook the duties of judging the various events, while Mr. P.A.Pockson, Honorary Secretary of the Association, was in charge of the records.
   The Fourth Hong Kong Murray Troop secured first place with a total of 181 3/4 points, closely followed by the First Hong Kong Sea Scouts, who aggregated a total of 181 1/4 points. The First Hong Kong St. Joseph's College secured third place with 171 points.
