LONDON, Jan. 3.


General Sir R. Baden Powell had a sterling send-off from Southampton this afternoon on his departure for the West Indies, the United States, Canada, thence to Australasia and South Africa in furtherance of the Boy Scouts movement. A mass of Boy Scouts lined the quayside.
