[English] General Baden-Powell.

21 February 1912

General Baden-Powell.

The following is from the "Japan Advertiser" of Feb. 1:- Lieut.-General Sir Robert Baden-Powell, who as already announced, is making a very extensive tour round the world in connection with the Boy Scout movement, is accompanied by Messrs. Noel M. Van Raalte; Eric R. Insole, and Musgrave C. Wroughton. His travels will take him into both Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

The party, according to present arrangements, are due to arrive at Yokohama by the Minnesota on March 30, but the length of their stay in Japan is not as yet definitely decided. We understand the General has entrusted Messrs. Thos. Cook & Son, of London, the well-known International Tourist Agents, with arrangements and details of the trip.
