LUCKY SHANGHAI SCOUTS.


Shanghai, May 25.

Messrs. Brunner Mond & Co. announce the lease of thirty-five acres for twenty-five years to the Boy Scouts at one dollar per year, the firm's Taipan having been impressed by the showing of the Boy Scouts at the annual Jamboree on Empire Day. Twenty citizens have pledged sufficient to carry the scouts through financially.
