A SCOUT RALLY.


Canton on May 24th will see a scout rally of some 4,000 boy and girl scouts. Among those to participate will be a troop from Hongkong. The exhibits include scout music, scout drill, horse play, fire-fighting, wireless telegraphy, tent-pitching, bridge-building, first aid, fire-making, bicycling, signalling, staff drill, Chinese art of boxing and self-defence, and popular scout games. Those who will participate in the exhibitions alone, not counting those to be present at the review and inspection, number about 2,300 boys and girls.
