LORD BADEN-POWELL.
Sees "When Scouting Won."
Lord Baden-Powell had a special view of the new Boy Scout film, "When Scouting Won," which has been produced by Mr. J. H. Martin Cross, of Minehead.
The Chief Scout, who thoroughly enjoyed the five reels of thrills, adventure and comedy, has since written congratulating the producer.
Beautiful scenes of rural life and clever acting are features of the film, which shows the value of Boy Scout training in resource and deduction and its ultimate triumph in service to the community.
Those who saw Mr. Martin Cross' previous film, "The Lone Scout," will be glad to make the acquaintance of his clever actors again in his latest production, which is even better. The fact that the film is made on non-inflammable film in both standard and 9 1/2 mm. sizes will ensure it a largely increased circulation.
