COLOURED SCOUTS TO BE ORGANISED

Lord Baden-Powell Tells Of African Scheme

A scheme to admit coloured boys into the Scout movement was mentioned by Lord Baden-Powell, the Chief Scout, when he landed at Southampton recently, after a seven months' tour in South Africa.

Separate federations of Scout organisations for native boys and Indians had been set up.

These would be self-administering, but under the general control of the Boy Scout Council.
