FRENCH HONOUR FOR LORD BADEN-POWELL


Paris, December 13. - Lord Baden-Powell, the Chief Scout, who arrived here yesterday to attend the celebration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Scout movement in France, and was greeted at the station by a contingent of several hundred Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, was invested with the insignia of the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour by President Lebrun at the Elysee last night.

This afternoon he attended a mass rally of French Scouts at the Parc des Expositions, where he was given an enthusiastic reception.
