THE BOY SCOUTS.
[To the Editor of the Hongkong Telegraph.]
Sir,- You seem to me to contradict yourself. You deny that the Boy Scout receives any military training and yet you assert that a trained Scout makes a good recruit for a military organization - the Cadet Corps. Presumably, therefore, he would also make a good recruit for the Nationalist Volunteers. You surely cannot have failed to notice that the Scout movement in Hongkong has been gathered almost exclusively into the hands of the Roman Catholics. In the present political situation cannot you bring yourself to entertain any sympathy for the views of
