U. S. Boy Scout Propaganda.

Inauguration of a movement through which the Boy Scouts of America hope to place the benefits of the organization before 8,000,000 boys of scout age, was announced in New York on March 19. Field secretaries are to visit cities and towns throughout the country to carry on organization work. At the close of 1916, 245,073 boys and men were registered as scouts and scout officials as compared with 181,522 on Dec. 31, 1915. Of these 54,345 were adults.
