SCOUTS' POST OFFICE.
BISCUIT TINS AS SORTING BOXES.
London, July 30.- The Imperial Scout Jamboree Camp at Wembley is already a busy place, though not until to-morrow will all the 12,000 scouts be encamped and everything be ready for the Prince of Wales, who is to sleep there on Saturday night.
The scouts now in camp number 2,000. The camp has field telegraphs and telephones, a safe-deposit, and a Post Office manned by scouts, with 150 sorting-boxes made from biscuit tins.
Easily visible to all the camp, the Prince of Wales's tent is to be set on a height.
The Jamboree begins on Friday in the Wembley Stadium, and will be given twice daily until August 8.
A great congregation from all parts of the world filled Westminster Abbey last evening for the festival service for the Empire Boy Scouts.
